Why is sensory time important?
Children use their sense of touch, smell, taste, sight and hearing to understand the world around them. By stimulating a child’s senses you are helping develop their cognitive, linguistic, emotional, and creative skill-sets. The more senses an activity activates, the more likely the child is to remember the information they learned. |
