Materials:

• Alphabet blocks
  
• Sorting trays or bins

Procedure:

1. Sorting Criteria: Provide different criteria for sorting the blocks, such as by color, letter, or size.
2. Sorting Activity: Have the children sort the blocks into the appropriate trays or bins based on the given criteria.
3. Discussion: Discuss the sorting process and what they learned about the blocks.

Assessment:

• What did the children notice regarding same and different?
• Were they able to sort by the given criteria?
• Did they learn anything new about the blocks?
