Five Little Pumpkins Song
Five little pumpkins sitting on a gate
First one said "Oh my, it's getting late!"
Second one said "There are witches in the air"
The third one said "but we don't care!"
The fourth one said "let's run and run and run"
The fifth one said "I'm ready for some fun!"
Ooo ooo went the wind, and out went the light
And the five little pumpkins rolled out of sight

Assessment:
- Observe and record the children’s fine motor skills. Were they able to pinch and place the clothespins onto the popsicle sticks? How did they react to the 5 Little Pumpkins song? Give the children multiple opportunities to practice the song over the course of the school week.
Note: Please provide appropriate supervision to the children in your care when completing all activities. You will need to decide what types of activities are safe for the children in your care. Appropriate and reasonable caution should be used when providing art and sensory experiences for children. Toddlers require special caution, only use non-toxic materials, and do not allow toddlers to put things in their mouths that are a choking hazard.
