Lorax II

National Read Across America Day will be observed on March 2!

March 2 is Dr. Seuss’s birthday and in honor of his birthday spend your day celebrating reading! Have an un-Birthday party for Dr. Seuss!

Activity:  

Lorax Craft II (The Lorax)

Preschool

Materials: 

• White paint paper
• orange water color paint
• paint brush
• yellow construction paper or cardstock
• scissors
• googly eyes
• markers
• The Lorax, by Dr. Seuss ( available from Amazon -  see below) 

Lorax Craft II (The Lorax)

Procedure: 

Paint white paper orange. Let dry completely. Cut out a mustache and eyebrows from yellow paper and glue onto orange painted paper. Glue on googly eyes. Use markers to add a mouth and nose.
