Procedure:
- Prepare for the activity by creating the sensory bottle.
- Insert the small green items into the water bottle.
- Fill the bottle with water.
- Hot glue the lid on.
- Place the children on their stomach and present the bottle to them.
- As they are exploring, give them new vocabulary words for what they seeing and experiencing.
Assessment:
- Observe and record the children’s reaction to the bottle. Did they show interest? Did they reach for or move the bottle?
