Violet!

Violet Flower Rolling

Materials Needed:

• Violet flowers
• Rolling pin
• Paper

Directions:
Have the children find violet flowers (or bring them into the classroom). 
Allow the children to arrange them on a piece of paper and cover with another piece of paper.
Show them that they are going to use the rolling pin to roll the flowers flat and see the color show up on the paper.

Violet Rhyme

Roses are red,
Violets are blue.
Sugar is sweet,
And so are you!
