Procedure:
- Hide candy canes all around an outdoor space.
- Encourage the children to find as many as they can.
Assessment:
- Observe and record the children’s gross motor skills. Did they walk, run, and/or jump with proficiency?

Candy Cane Scavenger Hunt
Supplies:
Create a list of clues to locate hidden candy canes. Leave a clue with each candy cane that will help the children find the next missing candy cane. To start the game give the children a clue to find the first missing candy cane. When the children finish their scavenger hunt let them enjoy their candy cane.
