Frog Activities! Paper Plate Frogs Provide paper plates, construction paper, googly eyes, glue and green paint for each child to make their own paper plate frog. Egg Carton Frog Have the children paint two pieces of egg carton. Sing songs while you let them dry. Encourage the children to add eyes and a tongue. Help each child to glue the two pieces of egg carton together to finish their egg carton frog. Frog Puzzle Print off pictures of frogs and lily pads off of the internet. Cut the frog into pieces, labeling each body part. Encourage the children to put the frog back together. Frog Songs! 5 Little Speckled Frogs Five little speckled frogs (Hold five fingers on top of your other arm) Sat on a speckled log Eating the most delicious bugs. Yum! Yum! One jumped into the pool (jump a finger off the log into the pool) Where it was nice and cool Now there are four green speckled frogs (Hold up four fingers) **Continue until one frog is left** One little speckled frog Sat on a speckled log Eating the most delicious bugs. Yum! Yum! It jumped into the pool Where it was nice and cool Now there is no more speckled frogs Little Tadpole
I'm a little tadpole swimming in the pond. Waiting to be a frog, just like my mom. First I'll grow back legs, and then I'll get my front. Last my tail will fall off and then I'm ready to jump.
